This long video shows the main applications of Chen style (the style Tai Chi is supposed to develop from). Apparently this Master passed away not long ago.
Even though there’s no translation, you can enjoy his exquisite and deep knowledge about energy transfer in martial arts.
My intention in posting this video is to remind that Tai Chi is a martial art, the most subtle among all others.
Enjoy!

This video shows our applications of Small Frame and Circle Taiji Boxing… Western Taiji Boxing’s Form and Functional application is at present a strong integration of stationary spiraling, active stepping and circular engagements. We would use these applications in combative of competitive scenarios as we follow the principles of Wu Chin (Follow, Link, Adhere, Stick, Never Release or Resist)…. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hYd0Jv51A0
Thank you Gurjot for visiting my blog and leaving your comment.
I watched the video: I can see huge internal energy. I loved the low stances and the subtle, very fine sensitivity in understanding the opponent’s intention and energy.
Where can I read about Wu Chin?
Your blog is awesome and I will tell my students about it…. You can read about it in my book The Art of Western Tai Chi Ch’uan… It summaries it and combines it Li I-Yueh’s Five Character Secret…. Wang’s Classic Treatise speaks of it as does Wu Kung T’sao’s Gold Book but these treatise assume you are well read in the nuances of form and pushhands which Li hasa treatise on… all of these treatise are presented and discussed in my book ….
Time for starting studying “push hand”…I have been thinking of it for a while.
I’ll look up for your book, sounds very interesting when someone integrates different sources.
Thank you for promoting my blog!

Their children were taught Bagua and Xing Yi and some were even taught Southern Chinese styles for their pugilistic, trapping and striking. I am doing nothing new and in fact I am following the Way.
